Google should be releasing the Pixel 8 series later this year, and all eyes are on the Pixel 8 Pro since it will be offering the most in terms of features. Recently, it was revealed that the phone is going to have a temperature sensor on the back, and now, we have our hands on actual, real-life images of the upcoming flagship, and well, there are some interesting details that we have to tell you about.
A user on Reddit managed to get their hands on the pictures, and even though the pictures have been taken down ever since we have managed to get them, and they show the Pixel 8 Pro, stickered up, indicating how this is a prototype and just for evaluation purposes, but there's plenty of detail to look into.
Now, the leaked Pixel 8 Pro pictures do reveal some details about the phone. The phone is codenamed "husky" and bootloader also says "ripcurrent" which refers to the codename for the devboard used in these phones. You are also looking at a sticker on the back saying "Zuma" which corresponds to the codename of the Tensor G3 specs. Other specs include 12 gigs of LPDDR5 RAM along with 128 gigs of internal storage, but we are sure that a higher storage variant will also be available.
Specs aside, moving onto how the Pixel 8 Pro looks and well, there are some interesting details to note. The phone is a big departure from Pixel phones of the past becuase this one is a lot rounder than the previous generaiton phones and the camera island on the back looks massive. We also see the temperature sensor that we previously saw in the leak material. Honestly, all of this is making the phone look really nice and I am looking forward to see how it turns out once it officially launches.
