Street Fighter 6 first DLC character, Rashid arrives on 24th July

Rashid of the Turbulent Wind will be the first post-launch character added to Street Fighter 6, joining the roster on 24th July 2023 across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Rashid will be featured in all three main game modes in Street Fighter 6, joining the World Tour story mode to lend his moves to your custom avatar, being the 19th playable character in Fighting Ground, and with Rashid-related gear, emotes and more being available in the Battle Hub through the ‘Rashid Arrives!’ Fighting Pass.

First appearing in Street Fighter V, where he was the main character of that game’s eventual story mode, Rashid’s revamp for Street Fighter 6 adds some new moves alongside returning staples, and is characterised by parkour and quick movements. His moveset includes:

Rashid will be available and unlocked for owners for Street Fighter 6 Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or the Year 1 Character Pass. If you just want a taster of what he’s all about, then there’s also a Rental Fighter ticket that can be obtained through the in-game Fighting Pass, which allows you to check him out for one hour.

Players can also try out Rashid for free for one hour with one Rental Fighter ticket, obtainable in the in-game Fighting Pass.
