The idea of a Persona 3 remake has been floating around for months now thanks to self-purported Atlus insiders and leakers such as Im A Hero Too. Vetted by ResetEra moderators, they claimed back in January that Persona 6 and P3R are "pretty far along" in development, targeting a Summer reveal. Now that Summer approaches, they teased that "anyone interested in Persona" should make sure they watch the Xbox Showcase on June 11.
Lending credence to their claim of a Persona 3 Remake is a web domain registered in March, titled P3RE.JP. Fans have set up fake web domains to trick others in the past, but it's worth noting that both Persona 5 Royal and P5 Strikers were leaked in the same fashion. It's possible that history is repeating itself, but we won't have to wait long to find out if the leaks are true. June 11 is less than a month away.

"What is the date for Xbox Showcase? Anyone know?" Im A Hero Too asked.
"June 11th. Their typical 'E3 Spot'" grand replied.
"Oh interesting," Im A Hero Too said. "Reyes Trace and anyone interested in Persona, make sure you watch it. It'll be Evoke-itive."
While Im A Hero Too has made claims about Persona 6 in the past, this tease is likely hinting at P3R. The play on words with "Evoke-itive" is a reference to Persona 3's iconic Evokers. They're gun-like objects that characters aim at their heads and fire to summon and control their Personas.
As for why it's allegedly being revealed at the Xbox Showcase and not next week's PlayStation one, it might be tied to the same marketing rights Microsoft had with Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden. The Xbox ports were revealed first with a 48-hour-embargo placed on the PlayStation versions.
