An ambitious fan group is currently working on a female protagonist mod for Persona 3 Reload. Atlus' Persona 3 Reload launched on February 2 to an overwhelming amount of hype and critical acclaim. Reload is a remake of the original Persona 3, focused on recreating the 2006 RPG and updating it to play more like modern Persona games. This mod is still a work-in-progress, but fans can mod their game using the files provided by the team so far. While the mod is still in its early stages, there has already been a lot of progress made, demonstrated by a video posted by JRPG YouTuber Faz.
Besides replacing the model to resemble the Persona 3 Portable protagonist, there are some custom animations that are meant to evoke the feeling of playing the female protagonist instead of the male one, such as when she is running in the overworld.
