Palworld is full of modding possibilities, from replacing assets with funnier options to tweaking game settings in order to make it more enjoyable, there have been a lot of mods.
Now, a new mod by Cristiferbeast allows you to play in first-person, right in the thick of things.
In the first few days after the game first launched on January 19, there was a glitch that left players stuck inside their own bodies. It caused some pretty gruesome moments, but this seems to have been fixed in a past patch. That said, it can sometimes be distracting to constantly be looking at yourself, especially during moments when you want to take in what you’re seeing without your character drawing your attention.
Cristiferbeast’s mod fixes that by making Palworld essentially an FPS. The mod can be found on both NexusMods or CurseForge, and once you’ve followed the installation instructions and got everything set up, all you need to do to enable first-person mode is press Alt+C. To disable first-person mode and go back to the intended third-person view, you just need to press Alt+V.
It’s worth noting that Palworld was never intended to be played in first-person mode. While this may seem like I’m stating the obvious here, installing and using this mod may result in some visual glitches or other issues.
However, this may be a mod that’s of use to those who enjoy taking and sharing in-game screenshots in order to remove their character from the picture. Currently, there is no in-game photo mode, and it’s something that players are hoping to get in a future update.
