Antstream Arcade, the world's largest officially licensed retro gaming platform, is adding 27 Bandai Namco classics to its lineup of over 1,300 games, including Pac-Man, Galaga, Splatterhouse, Dig Dug, and Pac-Mania.
Antstream Arcade already has a ton of titles from such systems as the Atari 2600, Commodore 64, SNES, SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive, and the original PlayStation alongside arcade classics, and these new additions will be a joy for retro fans for many reasons.
Before we jump into that, we thought we'd share the full list of the Bandai Namco games joining Antstream Arcade. They are as follows;
In addition to playing all of these games as they were originally developed, Antstream Arcade also added exclusive bite-sized mini-game challenges that allow players to play the games they love in a whole new way. There are also ways to challenge friends or others across the world in duels or in the Giant Slayer mode.
For those unfamiliar, Giant Slayer mode lets you choose your favorite game and become the "Giant" of that game who has to hold off the rest of the Antstream community to prove they are worthy of the crown.
There are also weekly tournaments, global leaderboards, cloud saves, and so much more.
“We're very grateful to have the support from Bandai Namco Entertainment”, said Steve Cottam, CEO Antstream, “Bandai Namco Entertainment games are some of the most culturally important games in gaming’s history and having support from forward-thinking companies like Bandai Namco Entertainment is critical to the efforts of game preservation that will help ensure that arcade classics can continue to be enjoyed by the next generation of gamers through innovative services like Antstream Arcade”.
