One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 launched over three years ago on the PS4, back in 2020 – but publisher Bandai Namco, alongside developer Omega Force, has teased that new DLC is on the way. This is obviously unusual because typically a game’s post-release support has concluded by now, unless it’s a live service like Fortnite or Genshin Impact.
The exact nature of the content hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it’ll include brand new characters. More information will be announced during One Piece Day on 22nd July, and you can watch the broadcast live on YouTube if you’d like to. In the meantime, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is actually discounted in the latest PS Store sale, so there’s never been a better time to pick it up.
