Despite drawing comparisons to, the core gameplay of centers more heavily around building bases than battling creatures — which unfortunately means that moving bases, or building multiple bases, can be a tedious and time-consuming task. Luckily, the game has built-in features to mitigate the need for multiple bases and rebuilding structures, which can make moving an already-built base much easier than simply rebuilding it from scratch, or having to manage multiple locations in different parts of the world.
While some accusations position as a rip-off of , the game's core mechanics bear much more of a resemblance to open-world survival games like, with a heavy emphasis on exploration, gathering resources, and building and managing bases. Building bases, however, costs time and resources, and it can be easy for players just starting out to set up their first base in a location that might not be ideal for their needs, causing them to have to rebuild another base in a better spot later. Fortunately, there's an easy way to make moving bases faster and more convenient.
While there's currently no way to move an entire base to a different spot on the map with its layout and all of its structures intact, disassembling the Palbox of the base from the world map is the quickest option for changing locations. Doing so will automatically disassemble any structure that can't be placed outside a base and put any Pals at the base into the Palbox — although this means that any other structures at the base will stay behind.
Once the Palbox has been disassembled, it can then be placed at another spot on the map, retaining any base levels that were previously gained. Unfortunately, there's currently no way to avoid having to rebuild structures, as disassembling the Palbox from a previous base will disconnect certain structures that may have relied on each other to function, and items and resources that were stored at the previous base will need to be manually transferred to the new one,
