NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4090 D GPU is on track for its China launch in the coming year and we get to learn some more specs from leaker, MEGAsizeGPU.
As exclusively reported by us last week, NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4090 D Gaming GPU is coming to the Chinese gaming segment. The GPU which is designed by the US regulations will be a slightly cut-down variant of the original RTX 4090 which had been restricted in the country due to its TPP (Total Processing Performance) rating exceeding 4800 points.
This rating tool has been devised by the US Commerce authorities to make sure that China doesn't get access to advanced chips that can be used to give them an edge in AI computing. This means that NVIDIA will have to slightly roll back on the specifications front for the GeForce RTX 4090 which also reportedly utilizes a new Ada Lovelace GPU SKU. This new SKU is known as the AD102-250 and is a cut-down version of the AD102-300 GPU we got on the RTX 4090.
4090D is on track, with no delay.
More Spec:

Based on the newest information, it looks like we have a bit more details regarding the clock speed of this particular GPU. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 D GPU is said to feature a base clock of 2280 MHz which is 45 MHz higher than the RTX 4090 & the boost clock speed is rated at the same 2520 MHz. There's still no information regarding the core configuration or memory specs but the card is likely to retain the 24 GB GDDR6X memory with over 1 TB/s of bandwidth and a TGP of over 400W.
What's more important is that MEGAsizeGPU states that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 D GPU is still on track. Now despite some harsh statements from the US's Commerce
