Super Mario Bros. Wonder was announced back in June, revealing a few key things. First, it's Daisy's debut in a mainline game, which is an incredibly long time coming and something fans, including our own Editor-in-Chief Stacey Henley, were quick to celebrate. Second, Charles Martinet has retired from the role of Mario, meaning that someone else is voicing the Italian Goomba-stomping plumber this time. And finally, it's ditching the 'New' style that grew infamous in its nearly 20-year dominance. Again, fans were quick to celebrate.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder launches on October 20 for Nintendo Switch. If you also have a PS5... good luck. That's the same day Spider-Man 2 comes out.
