At this point everyone knows just how much of a game-changer Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 is. Total gameplay system overhauls, fundamental changes to combat, etc., etc. But there's one adjustment that deserves to be singled out and paraded through the streets — an adjustment that finally fixes what is perhaps the most infamously bad moment in Cyberpunk 2077.
We are, of course, talking about the hilariously awful picture that River's sister Joss sends you via text, after completing all of their related missions. For those who may not know, helping out detective River Ward with his investigation results in V becoming good friends (or potentially more, if you're playing as a female V), with the ex-cop. A little later on, V is sent a photo of River, Joss, and the family.
This image — and the resulting text conversation — was added in one of the game's previous updates, in a bid to help flesh out secondary characters and romance options. However, the picture was comically crap — a shockingly rough photoshop job of the character models hanging out together. Many assumed that it must have been a placeholder or draft that somehow made it into the game — possibly because of time restrictions.
Thankfully, that nightmarish picture has been replaced thanks to Update 2.0. Joss now sends V a much higher quality photo, complete with actual lighting effects and depth. CD Projekt Red actually did it!
