What's with Japanese publishers and early 2024?! At this point it's becoming a bit of a joke, because we've got yet another Japanese game coming to PS5 and PS4 in the first quarter of next year. Launching on the same day as Persona 3 Reload — that's the 2nd February — is Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash. The date's been outed by the brawler's newly published PlayStation Store page (as spotted by Gematsu).
If you haven't been keeping up, this is a two-on-two arena fighter based on the popular Jujutsu Kaisen manga and anime — the latter of which is making waves with its latest episodes.
Despite the source material's popularity, we do think Cursed Clash has to be something pretty special for it to stand out in such a packed release schedule. Again, it's dropping on the same day as Persona 3 Reload, and that's just one day removed from anticipated action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink. Oh, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is just a few days before that. And so's Tekken 8. Sheesh.
