Eternal Tombs, once known as War of Dragnorox, has recently provided a very early glimpse into their first raid test via a video posted to their YouTube. According to Triune Studios, the results were nothing short of spectacular, with the test exceeding their expectations.
The raid test, conducted on 10/24/2023, was described as a «HUGE success” by the community manager of the official Discord server. The team reported excellent frame rates despite the test being conducted using outdated hardware, specifically an over 4-year-old RTX 2060, and low network bandwidth.
In the video, players are introduced to a humongous boss in the form of a powerful dragon named Lord Narathok. Through some determination the team was able to take the beast down in the end. For those unfamiliar with what Eternal Tombs is all about, the game is notable for featuring live Dungeon Masters, adding a dynamic and ever-changing element to the gameplay. The team is adamant that one of their premiere standout features of Eternal Tombs is its commitment to being a microtransaction-free game. All gear, experience, cosmetics, and gameplay items are earned solely through in-game efforts, ensuring players get a genuine sense of accomplishment.
For those interested in joining future tests, the team has assured there will be many more opportunities. You can request access to sign up on their Steam page, or head to their Discord and click the Sign Up button under the “request to be a tester” channel under the Support category.
