Cyberpunk 2077 is a wonderful game full of oddities and strange phenomenon, especially back when it first launched when you couldn't walk down the street without encountering some kind of hilarious bug. CD Projekt Red has done an admirable job fixing the game up into the excellent state that it's in now, but one absurdity that was never changed was the infamous photo of River Ward's family that his sister Joss sends you after you complete his questline.
The picture in question is particularly notorious among Cyberpunk 2077 fans, as it shows River's family awkwardly gathered around a hospital bed all staring off in different directions. There's a child squatting on the bed itself, holding what appears to be a PNG image of a realistic teddy bear that was slapped right on top of the photo. It was creepy and bizarre, but with the recent release of Cyberpunk 2077's 2.0 update, it's finally been replaced.

The new photo was spotted and shared to the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit by u/sherlotka-2137, which instantly looks better than the original. River's family are actually posed in natural positions, either talking to each other or occupied with some other activity. All of them are in the photo, which begs the question as to who actually took the candid of them, but since the teddy bear is gone, we can assume it was him.
Even though the previous photo was absolutely dreadful and a clear indicator that the game was rushed out of the gates on launch, the majority are actually quite upset that CD Projekt Red has replaced it. It was so hilarious and strange that a lot of people seem to have grown attached to the image, asking CD Projekt Red to include as an easter egg
