New World Update 4.0.2 downtime will begin at 11:00PM PT (7:00AM UTC) on January 9 and last approximately 1 hour. Save Aeternum in the Legacy of Crassus event, and get inspired by our community housing contest winners. There’s also another wave of Ronin’s Shadow skins coming to the in-game store. The shadow of Roman tyranny creeps ever closer to consuming Aeternum on January 10 through 23. Banish General Crassus's monstrous captains for new event-specific, daily rewards . Players brave enough to tear down the banners of the Republic in Brightwood, Weavers Fen, Mourningdale, Ebonscale Reach, and Edengrove can earn Cyclops Statuette Housing Items, up-leveled Named Gear, and more.
In a ravaged and uncertain place like Aeternum, it is rare to find one fully committed to honor and loyalty. If you walk the warrior’s path, visit the Store for new Ronin’s Shadow items. Which skins and emotes will you add to your collection?

Increased heavy dodge's stamina cost from 50 to 55.
Bow
Increased Bow base damage in PvE modes by 2.8% and then reduced back down to where it was in PvP to compensate.
Updated the tooltip of Empowering Explosive Arrow to be more clear that it is removed on the next hit, and not just attack. Also reduced the duration of the Empower from 10s to 5s.
Musket
Increased Musket base damage in PvE by 4.8% and then reduced back down to where it was
