The Fatal Blow functions as a comeback mechanic and only becomes available when a player drops to or below 30% health. You will know that the move is available when you see the words “FATAL BLOW” appear beneath your health bar. A super powerful move that can cut through an opponent’s health bar, it can be great to make up the life difference if you have fallen behind or finish out a match when you just need that little extra damage. The move doesn’t require any motion input or anything like that. You simply need to press the two triggers on your controllers or the buttons that are mapped to the Flip Stance and Block buttons. When you press the buttons at the same time, you will attack your enemy and if the attack hits, you will perform the Fatal Blow.
