While 2018 saw the MCU's release of Avengers: Infinity War, the comics saw the release of Infinity Wars that same year featuring Marc Spector's Moon Knight making his own "Who is Gamora?" joke. Following Gamora's murder of Thanos under the identity of Requiem, Infinity Wars saw the Mad Titan's daughter collecting the Infinity Stones for herself, seeking to succeed where Thanos had failed. However, one of the most hilarious moments from the Marvel Comics event coincidentally resembled one of the best jokes from the third Avengers film.
In Infinity Wars from writer Gerry Duggan and artist Mike Deodato Jr., Gamora was revealed to be the mysterious Requiem who had murdered Thanos. Seeking to restore the missing part of her trapped within the Soul Stone, Gamora began a crusade to collect all of the Infinity Stones regardless of the heroes in her way. She even attempted to kill Star-Lord as she waded through the gathered members of the Infinity Watch. Once she had all of the Stones and restored herself, Gamora then sought to rebalance the Soul Stone which had been corrupted.

While this would lead to Gamora folding the universe in half where pairs of souls would merge to become single beings, Moon Knight was featured in Infinity Wars #3 just before she used the Stones. Seeing as how Marc Spector is such a grounded hero who isn't typically involved in Marvel's cosmic threats, it's not surprising that he'd be somewhat confused by what was happening. As such, Moon Knight asks Spider-Man for some assistance, resulting in a very funny exchange between the two vigilantes that's not unlike the "Where, Who, and Why Is Gamora?" joke featured in Avengers:
