Marvel Studios' Moon Knight features an ensemble cast that consists of Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke, among others. However, Disney has now confirmed that F. Murray Abraham will voice Khonshu, the ancient Egyptian god of the Moon.
Much like the comics, Marvel Studios' Moon Knight series will follow Marc Spector, a former marine and CIA operative who later finds work as a mercenary. On one of his jobs, Spector is mortally wounded and succumbs to his injuries, but he happens to die right in front of the statue of Khonshu. The ancient god revives Spector and implores him to become Moon Knight, serving as conduit for Khonshu.

While fans have known that Isaac's version of Moon Knight will have a similar relationship with Khonshu, if not the exact same one, the identity of the actor who will voice the god remained unknown until now. Disney revealed Abraham would voice Khonshu in the caption of a Moon Knight image where Isaac's Marc Spector enters a room that appears to hold the god's tomb. Abraham joins a cast that, in addition to Isaac and Hawke, includes Lucy Thackeray, May Calamawy, and the late Gaspard Ullie.
Abraham already has an impressive resume of voice work, having lent his talent toIsle of Dogs from director Wes Anderson and How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. If he doesn't have a familiar voice, Abraham should at least be a familiar face to audiences, having appeared in highly-acclaimed and notable films such as All the President's Men, Scarface, and Amadeus. Perhaps his most famous role to modern audiences would be black ops specialist Dar Adal in Showtime's Homeland.
