Oscar Isaac confesses one of his biggest hopes for Moon Knight: That it will blow fans' minds. After being saddled with some unfortunate prosthetics in 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse, Isaac is giving the superhero world another try with Marvel Studios' Moon Knight. A Disney+ show just like recent MCU hits like WandaVision andHawkeye, the series stars Isaac as the titular caped vigilante, who gains his powers from the Egyptian moon god Khonshou. By day, though, he's the unassuming Steven Grant — at least, some of the time. Steven is one of the many personalities living inside Marc Spector, a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder.
When Moon Knight begins, Steven is the one in charge, and he's haunted by dreams and memories he has no recollection of. This somehow connects to Marc's past and his evolution into Moon Knight, but Marvel has been careful not to reveal too much beyond that. That means fans still have much to uncover when the show premieres at the end of March. In addition to Isaac, Moon Knight stars May Calamawy, Gaspard Ulliel, and Ethan Hawke as the primary villain, a cult leader named Arthur Harrow.
