Moon Knight showrunner Jeremy Slater shares his hopes for a future team-up between Oscar Isaac’s newest Marvel hero and the Avengers. With phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe now well and truly underway, Marvel are set to introduce audiences to Moon Knight in their latest Disney+ series, which will see Isaac star as the show's titular character. The series follows former CIA agent Marc Spector on his path to becoming the white-cloaked vigilante,Moon Knight, after he makes a deal with the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu, which sees him transform into his super-powered alter ego.
Moon Knight’s addition to MCU received an incredibly warm welcome from audiences, who were delighted that this somewhat lesser-known hero would be getting his very own series, with Isaac at the helm. As with all of Marvel’s Disney+ series thus far, Moon Knight will tie directly into the timeline of the MCU films, but it remains to be seen how exactly Isaac’s character could impact future phases and just who he might cross paths with along the way.
