The titular character in the MCU's upcoming Moon Knight series is shown in full detail in a new image, including his iconic costume bandages. Set to premiere at the end of March on Disney+, Moon Knight will act as the introduction of Oscar Isaac's Marc Specter/Moon Knight into the MCU. In the series, Specter, who is a former U.S. Marine living with dissociative identity disorder, is granted the power of an Egyptian god, but soon finds himself in the middle of a dangerous mystery.
Moon Knight is the latest in an ever-growing roster of Disney+ MCU shows and is joining the likes of WandaVision, Loki, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Hawkeye. An initial trailer for the series teases a mind-bending story and some intense action sequences, as well as a sinister villain played by Ethan Hawke. Although it has since been announced that Loki is getting a second season, Isaac did recently confirm that Moon Knight will be a limited series, thus making a second season unlikely. In addition to Isaac and Hawke, the show also stars May Calamawy, Lucy Thackeray, and the late Gaspard Ulliel, who just recently passed away after a tragic skiing accident.
