The Marvel vs. Capcom crossover fighting game series features characters from the Japanese publisher’s video game franchises and Marvel’s comic book series.

It’s been claimed that during the development of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and later Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, Capcom wasn’t allowed to use characters in the game that weren’t planned for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
