One of Naughty Dog's classic games is on PlayStation Plus and can be completed in a very short amount of time for those looking to add yet another Platinum trophy to their collection. The Premium tier of Sony's subscription has an impressive catalog of older games that builds upon the PS4 and PS5 roster seen in the other tiers. With streaming for PS3 games and Classics titles covering the PS1, PSP, and PS2 era via emulation, games from every era are accessible to players on modern consoles, and March 19, 2024, saw the arrival of Naughty Dog's PS2-era platformer .
The first game in the series, received a remastered port in the 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and was brought to the PlayStation Vita in 2013. Due to the lack of backwards compatibility on the PS4, however, it was later re-released as one of the "" titles for the system on 22 August 2017, which essentially ported the original games but added new features like Trophies. This PS2 Classic version was also later made available to download on the PlayStation 5 through backwards compatibility and is the version that is currently included as part of the PlayStation Plus subscription.
Other titles were also brought to PS4 and PS5 as PS2 Classic releases in 2017, granting players the chance to continue the duo's story on modern platforms should they enjoy.
