With all three seasons of streaming on Netflix, many fans are wondering if it’ll have more seasons or whether the show has been canceled. So, here’s all you need to know about Loudermilk’s potential future.
The Sony Pictures Television series has a complicated history. It began in 2017 and season 2 was launched in 2018. But before season 3 aired, Amazon acquired the show and launched it on Prime Video. However, the streamer didn’t show interest in continuing the show with a fourth season.
According to Deadline’s past report, Loudermilk creator Peter Farrelly has already shown interest in returning for season 4. He confirmed that all the cast members want to return as well, and said:
“We are going to get them back, we are going to do it, we just need to find the right home for it. We want to do Season 4, Season 5, Season 6, Season 7. I want to keep going because I know where it is going, where I want it to be in 6-7 years.”
But unfortunately, no streaming service has picked up the series for future seasons at the time of writing.
All three seasons of Loudermilk have been licensed to Netflix in January 2024. The series is in Netflix’s Top 10 list in Australia, the US, and the UK. So clearly, it has found an audience on the streaming service with many fans discovering the show only recently.
If Netflix decides to revive it, then we could see Peter Farrelly and the cast, including Ron Livingston as Sam Loudermilk, Will Sasso as Ben, Laura Mennell as Allison, and Anja Savcic as Claire, return for Season 4. But until then, fans of the show will just have to keep their fingers crossed.
