Loki was the first and only Marvel Studios show so far to get greenlit for a second season on Disney Plus, and it now looks as if production is well underway. Thanks to a series of photos and new footage that shows stars Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson dressed up in the street of London, fans have a hint at what to expect from season 2.
After its premiere last summer, Loki went on to become Disney Plus' biggest MCU streaming exclusive, comfortably beating all other Marvel Studios shows and even attaining viewership levels comparable or superior to those of The Mandalorian, even accounting for its shorter 6-episode run. Coincidentally, Loki is also believed to be the show with the biggest implications for the wider MCU, as it was the first one to unlock the multiverse storyline that’s since been explored by Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The on-set footage shows Wilson and Hiddleston wearing tuxedos in what appears to be downtown London, though figuring out which particular time period they're in is a bit tougher because the double-decker bus and vintage-style cars are not enough of a tell for the British capital. Additional set photos show a poster for the fictional serial killer movie Zaniac starring the Marvel Comics character Brad Wolfe, which some fans feel is a sign that the famous killer could be a villain in season 2.
