While the Dragon Ball mythos is surely extensive and has been carved out for decades now, it pales in comparison to that of comic book giants like DC. The Green Lantern legacy has existed since the 1940s and has only continued to expand with the addition of other Lantern Corps along the Emotional Spectrum. With such an ensemble cast in Dragon Ball, it’s only natural to wonder which Dragon Ball characters would be the most fitting or deserving to join each Corps. The macrocosm of Dragon Ball is both vast and expansive and there would be a plethora of characters to choose from when it comes to determining where each Z-Warrior or villain may end up.
While every character in Dragon Ball possesses their own unique character attributes that could allow them to be inducted into a specific core, the first one that needs to be dealt with is also the most unique in the Emotional Spectrum- the Orange Lantern Corp. Though there are countless characters in Dragon Ball that would exemplify aspects like willpower or rage, there actually aren’t that many that could easily represent avarice. Of the current Z-Fighters, the most fitting character to take up the Orange Lantern Ring would probably be none other than the primordial force of chaos himself, Majin Buu. When looking at Buu’s character it makes complete sense for him to fall victim to the Orange Lantern’s light of avarice, even despite his friendships with Hercule and Bee. This is a character so greedy, he has transformed entire cities of people into candy in the past, and has even stepped up to a God of Destruction for nothing less than a pudding cup.
