Newly released set photos from Loki season 2 show Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief visiting a McDonald's. Having joined Marvel's ever-growing lineup of Disney+ shows last year, Loki saw the much anticipated return of its fan-favorite titular villain. Season 1 of the MCU adjacent series enjoyed enormous success on the streaming platform, having established itself as Disney+'s most-watched Marvel series, a title that Loki has since maintained despite various other releases. Following his tragic demise in the MCU's Sacred Timeline, Loki put a unique spin on the long-running Marvel villain's story, opening up a whole new future for the character.
Aside from acting as a continuation of Loki's story, Loki season 1 also introduced a variety of new concepts to the MCU that have since continued to be explored through the studio's theatrical releases. Loki saw the God of Mischief come face to face with a number of his own variants, while also introducing audiences to Jonathan Majors' He Who Remains, otherwise known as Kang the Conqueror, establishing some huge implications for Marvel's Phase 4 and 5 as it continues to explore the concept of the multiverse. Aside from these big Marvel moments, Loki also welcomed Owen Wilson's Mobius to the MCU, alongside Sophia Di Martino's Sylvie, a variant of Loki, with many excited to see what lies ahead for the gang as Loki season 2 nears release.
