2023 might be packed full of AAA megatons (several of which have already launched to solid critical and commercial success), but even so, Neowiz’s not-so-mainstream Soulslike action RPG Lies of P remains one of the most highly anticipated games of the year. The Bloodborne-inspired game has looking increasingly promising each time it has been shown off, and we’ve now got another extensive gameplay demonstration to dive into.
The new gameplay footage comes the game’s presence at GDC. Uploaded by GameSpot, it showcases nearly a dozen minutes of Lies of P in action, showing plenty of its gothic horror setting, challenging combat, and several of the mechanical enemies you’ll be trading blows with throughout the experience. Unsurprisingly, the game is continuing to look promising, especially if you’ve been craving something with heavy Bloodborne vibes. Check out the video below.
Lies of P is due out in August for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It will also be available via Game Pass at launch.
