In the latest Patch 10.1 PTR build, there have been many changes and improvements to the profession window including the ability to shrink it down, a new Spark slot when crafting gear, and added requirements for different Optional Reagents.
New Minimal View for Profession WindowThe biggest addition to the profession window in this build is the new «Minimal View». You can change between this new view and the standard one, by clicking the new Arrow button in the top right corner. This will shrink the profession window, so you can open other screens while still showing all of the recipe's important information.New Minimal View for Vibrant Wildercloth Shawl

Clearly Marked Requirements for Optional ReagentsIn addition to the Spark Slot change, they have added a «Requires: » tag to Optional Reagents to let the player know when that Optional Reagent can be used. Enchanted Wyrm's Shadowflame Crest requires a Spark of Shadowflame while Concentrated Primal Infusion requires a Spark of Ingenuity
