A new LEGO racing game called LEGO 2K Drive, though unannounced, is rumored to currently be in the closed beta testing phase. This info comes just over a year after it was rumored that 2K Games had partnered with LEGO to make sports and racing games. The racing title at the time was said to not be a racer like Mario Kart, but would instead take place in an open world.

Nothing was ever confirmed by 2K or LEGO, and since then, the two companies have continued on with other projects. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga launched in April 2022, and WWE 2K23 released to primarily positive reviews on March 17.
