It's been a hot minute since we saw anything from Ubisoft about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The last we heard of it was a delay into fiscal year 2023, meaning it could arrive at late as April 2024. Fans have understandably been clamouring for any fresh glimpse at the elusive game, and they may have finally just got one, albeit not from an official source.
ScriptLeaksR6 is a pretty reliable Ubisoft dataminer, and today, they've released a previously unseen image from the upcoming game. They say Frontiers of Pandora is «likely always first person», referring to the player's perspective during gameplay. The screen is of the player holding a human weapon and fighting someone in a large mech suit.
Further down Script's Twitter feed, they also say pre-orders for the game are coming soon, showing off a digital bonus pack. This combined with the aforementioned new image seems to suggest Ubisoft could finally be gearing up to re-reveal Frontiers of Pandora.
Hopefully an official unveiling isn't too far away, if only to make Video Producer Aaron Bayne one happy bunny. Are you excited for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, or are you someone other than Aaron? Tell us in the comments section below.
Having grown up alongside PlayStation, Stephen has developed an eclectic taste in video games and a wide knowledge of the medium, from small indie gems to the biggest AAA blockbusters. Ever hopeful that the Burnout series makes a miraculous return.
Ubisoft remains so silent about it's two main projects — both Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Assassin's Creed: Mirage.
