director James Gunn followed up the recent announcement of the movie entering pre-production with further details about the upcoming film.
On Twitter, Gunn was asked if the entire script was complete for, or if only the one page in Gunn’s earlier photo was done. The director confirmed that the movie’s whole script is indeed finished.

One Twitter user asked if it is correct to assume that the actor who will play Superman will be announced by the end of this month or next month. Gunn said it is not correct to assume that, suggesting fans will be waiting a bit longer to hear who’s playing Superman.

The user who asked about Superman’s actor responded with a sad face emoji, which the DC Studios Co-CEO replied to with, “Sorry.”

Another user asked if Warner Bros. gave Gunn any notes on the script. The director clarified that WB wouldn’t be giving notes on a DC Studios production, as the two are different entities within Warner Bros. Discovery.

Finally, Gunn was asked about if he has an aspect ratio in mind for and if he can publicly reveal it. The Co-CEO replied that he does have one in mind but that he can’t reveal it yet.
