Superman: Legacy Cast Will Feature Guardians of the Galaxy Stars
Vol. 3 director James Gunn has spoken about the possibility of some of the stars of the Guardians of the Galaxy series being part of the Superman: Legacy cast in his upcoming DC Universe movie.
On his Twitter account, Gunn held a small fan Q&A that was composed entirely of “yes or no” questions. One user asked if there were any plans for any of “the Guardians” (referring to the Guardians of the Galaxy) to be in an upcoming DC Studios movie. Gunn replied with, “Yes.”
Yes.
This question was then narrowed down by another user, who asked the director if any cast member from Guardians of the Galaxy would be in Superman: Legacy. Once again, James Gunn responded with, “Yes.”
Yes.
“Superman: Legacy tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas,” reads the movie’s official synopsis. “He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”
Production is expected to begin in early 2024, just on track for its currently scheduled 2025 theatrical release.
