Director James Gunn has dropped a new batch of behind-the-scenes photos for Marvel Studios’ latest movie, confirming the secret cameo.
In his Twitter post, Gunn revealed that Davidson‘s surprise visit to the movie’s Atlanta set inadvertently resulted in the comedic actor’s brief appearance as Phlektik, who is one of The High Evolutionary’s guards.
The set photos also featured Davidson with Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, and Pom Klementieff. The King of Staten Island star previously worked with Gunn in 2021’s The Suicide Squad, in which he played obscure DC villain Blackguard.
