Attentive members of the community noticed last week that Baldur's Gate 3 would be enhanced on PS5 Pro, and now we have the specifics. Larian Studios says the game's Quality and Performance modes on Sony's shiny new hardware have been refined «to achieve crisp console visuals without sacrificing smooth performance.»
Timed to coincide with the release of PS5 Pro, Quality Mode now runs at a native 4K (2160p) at 30fps. Performance, meanwhile, will upscale from 1440p to 2160p at 60fps through the power of PSSR (thanks, IGN). For those of you with friends, split-screen play on PS5 Pro has also received a buff, now running at 30fps or 60fps, depending on the setting.

@Bentleyma I’m not a fan of the Pro console, far from it actually, but BG3 is a game that needs mostly a fast CPU if you’d want near constant 60fps. It’s a huge and complex game, thus the fact that it runs as ok as it is and looks on par with PC on high settings is a treat. It would have been absurd to believe that it would run a whole lot smoother, while using the same CPU as the base model
@Bentleyma I'm pretty sure most games that
