Google continues to refine user experiences with its latest updates to Media Controls. Last week Google updated the Cast controls. It will change the way you were using Chromecast earlier. Now, users can effortlessly manage media playback on Chromecast, Chromecast Ultra, Chromecast Audio, and even devices with Chromecast built-in, such as TVs and speakers. Additionally, Google Nest and Home speakers and displays join the lineup, making it a comprehensive solution for controlling your audiovisual experience.
To access Google Media Controls, your mobile device needs to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your speaker or display and Chromecast. Once they are connected, users can access these controls through a streamlined process.
It's important to note that Google Media Controls are currently available exclusively for iOS devices running version 10.0 or later. Unfortunately, Android users will need to wait for this feature to become accessible on their devices.
