Sora, the spiky-haired protagonist of Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts series, has briefly surfaced to congratulate fellow spiky-haired protagonist, Cloud Strife, on the (largely) successful launch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
This is a cute thing that Twitter accounts will occasionally do, especially when operated by the same publisher. Still, we have to say, that apocalyptic vision of Tokoyo's Shibuya Crossing with Sepiroth emblazoned on every screen? Pretty sick. We've heard virtually nothing about Kingdom Hearts IV since it was revealed back in 2022. Still, The concept of Sora and the Heartless crossing over into a modern realm inspired by our own is intriguing, and we'll be fascinated to see it implemented and put into action.
