Players who pre-ordered the special Deluxe or Icon editions of WWE 2K23 can now dive into Visual Concepts’ latest squared circle simulator to challenge John Cena in 2K Showcase, chart their own path to glory in the two MyRise campaigns, or even take control of their favorite brand in the newly revamped MyGM mode.
WWE 2K23 will no doubt contain many hidden details and Easter eggs for fans of professional wrestling, such as the two special John Cena variants that can be controlled in the 2K Showcase and the team-based MyFaction modes. Other fans have been hard at work recreating various former WWE stars that weren’t included in WWE 2K23’s standard roster for one reason or another, such as former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion and The Mandalorian guest star Sasha Banks.

Reddit user TaxableBread discovered that the pair’s special tag team finisher, which has Ricochet climb onto Strowman’s shoulders before jumping off and landing on a downed opponent, can be selected as the “Skyscraper Senton.” Other users in the comment section of TaxableBread’s video post expressed their pleasure at having this option, as well as relief that Tag Team Finishers can now be assigned in Universe Mode, something that was marred by technical issues in last year’s WWE 2K22.
