iPhone SE 4 Design To Be Based Almost Entirely On The iPhone 14, But With A Few Upgrades Such As USB-C, Action Button & More
The iPhone SE 4 launch might be undecided due to several factors, but more details concerning its appearance and features indicate that Apple has not given up on its low-cost lineup. More information has been exhumed, talking about the similarities with the iPhone 14 design, including a USB-C port and more, so let us get started.
Similarities with the iPhone 14 design mean that the iPhone SE 4 will likely sport a 6.1-inch OLED screen but without ProMotion support, as Apple would need to keep manufacturing costs down. According to MacRumors, an exact iPhone 14 chassis will not be re-used to launch the new version, but it will be slightly altered to accommodate the new internal changes. Perhaps the two biggest alterations arriving to this model are a USB-C port and the Action button that debuted on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
People familiar with the matter have said that Apple is internally referring to the USB-C port as the E85 connector, and we believe that when soldered to the iPhone SE 4, it will grant the device capabilities that exist in current-generation models, such as being able to hook the handset to a 4K HDR monitor or connect to a wired network using a USB-C to Ethernet dongle. However, we do not believe that the iPhone SE 4’s USB-C port will support any Thunderbolt version.
A drawback to launching more affordable models is that Apple will also make compromises in areas that will not be appreciated by potential buyers, such as the camera.
