Gameforge Announces 'Stormwing's Revenge', Update 2.4 for Aion Classic, With New Instances and Gear
Gameforge’s Aion Classic will be getting a brand new update, “Stormwing’s Revenge”, with new PvE and PvP additions, new gear, and more.
The team announced the new update today, with just a tease of some of what will be in the full patch when it arrives. As with previous updates, the team continues to add various new content from the classic game, with some brand new updates and adjustments. This update will raise the level cap to 55 and add several new instances and brand new Liberated Stormwing weapons.
The first, Liberated Beshmundir Temple, is the new PvE instance. This one will open up and inside you’ll get to face Stormwing. If you manage to claim victory, you’ll be walking away with some brand new gear and more rewards. One of the key details is you’ll be facing Stormwing in a new dimension, and this will be key to getting your hands on the new weapons.
Enter Liberated Stormwing weapons. These weapons will be upgradable and feature a number of different attribute options for more build options.
The Abyssal Splinter is another PvE instance on the way. You'll need to rely on strategic teamwork to get through to clear the dungeon. In fact, you'll need teamwork just to get in since you and up to 12 players will have to occupy the Divine Fortress in order to enter the new dungeon.
The Arena of Glory is a PvP battleground, so this one will be for those whose competitiveness drives them. This will come in the form of it all out PVP brawl. Everyone who competes gets their chance to rise up through the PvP ranks and can even earn some rewards while doing it.
