The Paper Mario spin-offs are a series of RPGs that are beloved by many fans. While the series experienced a bit of a slump throughout the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U era, fans remained incredibly enthusiastic about the series. Paper Mario itself would be represented in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a stage and various spirits from the series. As the mod is currently a work-in-progress, some of the videos are early tests of the character in action. Still, even with it being in-development, this Paper Mario mod looks incredible, as Paper Mario is rendered as a 2D sprite that replaces the Animal Crossing Villager fighter. Some of the videos show off the jumping and ducking animations, as well as various victory poses based on the Paper Mario games.
