We've known for a while that Starfield will be an Xbox console exclusive, skipping PlayStation. It will also launch on PC, but for anyone who sticks to playing on consoles, there's only one choice of platform. This is pretty unsurprising - Xbox owns Bethesda, after all, so why wouldn't it nab this as an exclusive to compete with Sony's impressive first-party lineup?
Some PlayStation enthusiasts, however, are struggling to come to terms with the news. In fact, a whole bunch of them have mobilised to sign a petition, trying to compel Bethesda to launch Starfield exclusively on PlayStation. With just a few months to go until Starfield's launch, some console warriors are under the impression that it's not too late for the studio to make such a sweeping change, as the petition is approaching 1,000 signatures.

The best part of this is that the petition was almost definitely set up by a troll, likely an Xbox fan making fun of PlayStation enthusiasts. Either that or someone dunking on the entire console wars concept, as we all should, to be honest. Of course, that hasn't stopped it from reaching almost 1,000 signatures. So let's just point and laugh at some of the lines in the petition that all of these people are signing.
"For over a decade, Bethesda games have been released on PlayStation," reads the petition. "They perform better on PlayStation, run better, and sell better. Xbox and specially Phill Spencer have NO BUSINESS taking them away [sic].
"Xbox and its 12 dedicated players do NOT deserve Starfield or any exclusivity. Not only are they arrogant and annoying but since the showcase they have been irritating."
