Class Specific Weapon and Armor Sets May Be Coming in Patch 10.1.7
Our updated database for Dragonflight Patch 10.1.7 PTR reveals some of the items associated with specialization specific weapons and class armor models discovered in Patch 10.1 and 10.1.7, suggesting these cosmetics may be coming to players soon! During the Patch 10.1 PTR, we datamined several unique weapons, shields, and offhand models for each specialization. Although exciting, no associated items or sources were ever found, and so these findings were largely forgotten without appearing in-game. The first round of Patch 10.1.7 PTR datamining has breathed new life into the discovery though, as we've found class specific armor sets matching all of those weapons found in Patch 10.1! What's more, we now have items to go along with them as well — finally giving them official names and confirming that the weapons and armor sets do indeed go together!
