How to Unlock the Earthen Allied Race in The War Within

With The War Within's Early Access, you can start working on how to unlock the Earthen Allied Race! Not all steps are able to be finished during the Early Access, but you can do some of the questlines right now!

To unlock the Earthen as an Allied Race, you must complete the War Within's level-up campaign and several quest chains related to the race. These quests are identified with a small Earthen Allied Race icon just above where players normally see quest rewards on the Quest screen.
The achievement Allied Races: Earthen lists the requirements to unlock the Earthen allied race:
- The War Within Campaign: This requires completion of the entire War Within campaign, including all 4 chapters at max level. This is not currently doable during The War Within Early Access,
- Mourning Rise: Complete the quests in the Mourning Rise area in Isle of Dorn, starting with Before I Depart and ending with The Weight of Duty.
- Broken Tools: Complete the quests from Machinist Kittrin in the Ringing Deeps, starting with Discarded and Broken and ending with Reforged Purpose.
- Merrix and Steelvein: Complete a series of quests in Dornogal, starting with How Scandalous! and ending with Bad Business.

After the class tuning on the weekly reset, Sunfury Mages have been dealing with a frustrating bug regarding their Hero Talent Burden of Power. Our Arcane Mage guide writer, Porom, details the bug and discusses the frustration with the frequent mechanical changes to Arcane since the War Within Launch. Arcane Mage Guide At the time of publication, it appears Blizzard has fixed the bug below, however, the functionality currently still does not enable someone to Blast into Barrage on Spheres 5 without losing Arcane Charges and not spending Burden of Power on the Barrage.
