Sunsoft's revived classic horror outing, Clock Tower: Rewind, has a Japan and Asia release date of 31st October, and we've been waiting for a Western launch date. Prepare to experience this spooky point-and-click nightmare on 29th October in North America and Europe, available on both PS5 and PS4.
Published by WayForward, self-styled Tyrannical Overlord Voldi Way revealed the news (thanks, Gematsu), proclaiming: «Just in time for spooky season, Clock Tower: Rewind will allow horror fans to finally experience an acclaimed 16-bit classic.»
Originally released on Super Famicom in 1995 as Clock Tower, Rewind marks the first time the title has been officially translated and released in the West. With the original features preserved and new additions (like an animated intro) and quality-of-life goodies like save states and rewind, prepare to evade the murderous clutches of the shears-wielding psychopath known only as Scissorman.
Tick tock
