The sequel to the long-running Korean MMO ArcheAge, ArcheAge Chronicles, is the next entry in the series. It was revealed under a new name at Sony's State of Play showcase. There is still no firm release date on this one, but we did get a decent look at gameplay; watch out for it sometime in 2025 on PS5.
Over on the PlayStation Blog, we got some more details. Developed by XL Games, ArcheAge Chronicles is described as an online action RPG that promises epic, large-scale raids and a diverse array of activities. Characters are highly manoeuvrable, and combat is combo-based. The history and setting of ArcheAge is based on a book series by renowned Korean fantasy author Jeon Minhee, which begins with The Fir and the Hawk.
