The DLC for does a lot to expand upon the lore surrounding House Va'ruun, but for those players who want to feel even more immersed when walking around the faction's capital city of Dazra, this mod is necessary. One of the more visually diverse locations in, Dazra is a strange mixture of the aesthetic seen in and traditional sci-fi stories like and. Yet the community has taken it a step further by significantly improving upon the strange city's lighting.
Over on Nexus Mods, creator RabbitDoesStuff shared their impressive «Rabbit's Real Lights Dazra» mod which completely overhauls the lighting in the titular city, making it look even more cinematic than before. The add-on includes over 400 "" and removes any unrealistic lights to make the capital shine brighter than ever. It also includes a few adjustments that fix broken light sources and add lights to missing locations, ensuring that those players who like to hang around the shadows can do so with style.
went a long way to providing fans with more of the content they've come to love and one of the most appreciated additions is Dazra. The moody city, which serves as the headquarters of the sinister House Va'ruun, is unlike any other location in the game thanks to its dark alleyways, traditional architecture, and ominous atmosphere. Having said that,the lighting does leave much to be desired especially when so much of Dazra is necessarily lit up.
It's certainly not difficult to appreciate without the mod butusing «Rabbit's Real Lights Dazra» does make the city look significantly more moody. Lighting is one of the most effective ways of evoking atmosphere in a video game so it's great that a talented modder has provided fans with a way to turn the expansion's best addition into a visual showstopper. It's a pity that the rest of the DLC left the community cold but at the very least, it's good to emphasize its strengths.
