Bethesda’s has just released the first DLC for the game, titled earlier this week.The new content expands the universe available to players by bringing them to Va’ruun’kai, the homeworld of the theocractic House Va’ruun. There, players must investigate what happened to Anakskko Va’ruun, the Speaker of House Va’ruun, while working with House Veth’aal, House Ka’dic, and House Du’khelf to discover what caused a massive explosion in the capital city of Dazra.
Players make huge decisions in that will reverberate throughout the universe, with most outcomes leading to a bad ending and only one seemingly good ending. While ’s base game ending smoothly leads into new gameplus, Shatteredends in a much more decisive way that decides the fate of a whole planet and, potentially, the whole universe.
Players can continue to play after finishing , which is good since theDLC is already a little too short and too light on new content to please fans. The DLC gives much more of a sense of finality than the ending of the original game, especially in regards to House Va'ruun. After making a few choices with lots of ramifications for the galaxy, like whether or not to restart the Serpent Crusade or which house should lead Va’ruun’kai,players can continue on their open-world adventures with the choices they made in the DLC.
Starfield, like many RPGs, features a lot of hidden details and Easter eggs. Although some are easy to find, others are known by only a select few.
Though unfortunately, it seems that these seemingly massive decisions do not have much of an impact on the actual gameplay of after finishing the DLC. Some decisions will allow players to continue to access special DLC areas, so it might be best to know what decisions will lock out endings and access to content.
Depending on what decisions players have made, they may be cut off from certain parts of the DLC, like being able to return to Var’uun’kai and live in a house on the planet. While some choices will end in an instant
