The Spiritborn class has been getting a lot of attention in , and Blizzard is addressing and patching a known bug with the Evade build. While fixing a bug is not usually a game-breaking issue, the Evade build is highly acclaimed by many, making some fans wonder if it's a simple patch or a nerf.
In a recent X post from community lead Adam Fletcher, also known as @PezRadar, the developers noticed a bug at the heart of the Spiritborn's Evade cast animations, causing some players to use it to their advantage. Diablo 4 players can't seem to get enough of the new Spiritborn class, but it seems that the balance is off, causing an uproar from the community.
In a comment left by @securefpsttv on X, they state, Fletcher did respond to this comment, making sure to note that this Evade bug has been brought to light a multitude of times and was an animation-breaking glitch. Another commenter known as @Dabatsau states,

While some fans are disappointed, others are happy with this fix, as it can negatively
