@LtSarge I never did finish Firewatch as my save got corrupted reight near the end. I did really enjoy it up until then though. I had similar feeling with Gone Home and was left totally under whelmed by the outcome.

@JohnnyShoulder That's unfortunate to hear about your save file and also that Gone Home doesn't have a satisfying ending as I have that game in my backlog as well.

It's interesting you should mention technical problems as I experienced quite a few bugs while playing Firewatch, such as being stuck in a spot or a sign that was floating. It's weird that the developer hasn't ironed out these issues considering the game has been out a long time now.

@LtSarge Yeah i think i remember the game being a bit buggy when i played it too.

I think Campo Santo was bought by Valve, and have been working on internal projects for them ever since. They did have another game, Valley of the Gods that was announced before Valve bought them but nothing has been seen of it since.

Mass Effect 1

That last boss fight was pretty damn good. Not much more to say really then what I've already said in the PS5 games you're playing thread.

Pretty darn solid. Interested to see where the series goes next. I'll give it a bit of a break before starting up the next game though.

@LtSarge @JohnnyShoulder Shame you both had issues with Firewatch, I must have got lucky as I had no problems when I played it. I remember enjoying it and don't recall being let down by the finish but then admittedly I also remember a good few story beats but not the ending so maybe that says something.
You're right about them being brought by Valve and they cancelled that Valley of the Gods game to put them to work in a support role. A shame as I thought that looked interesting.

@HallowMoonshadow Glad to hear you enjoyed ME1. One of my favourite series. I think the first one might have the best story for me but the overall gameplay and structure makes a big improvement
